The TGX
has an inbuilt ITSO compatible Contactless Smart Card Reader, representing a highly versatile electronic ticketing system design for use on buses, trains, underground and metro systems. Revenue and passenger performance data, routes and services are automatically stored in the credit card sized portable memory module which can be removed and the data transferred to the Depot Reader for downloading to the customer’s own computer system. The TGX is adaptable to provide either basic or a fully integrated ticketing system capable of development as necessary to keep pace with a customer’s requirements. At all levels it offers improved efficiency and a friendly and beneficial service to passengers without detracting from operational efficiency and management planning. |

The Smart Card Validator (SCV) has been designed to be as flexible as possible. The unit is suitable for all types of public transport applications and can be operated in conjunction with any of the range of Wayfarer electronic ticket machines or in a ‘stand alone’ mode. Smart Cards also enable companies to implement specific ticket marketing policies and to improve customer loyalty, thereby potentially increasing revenue flow. |
